” I am interested in geography of tourism, with an interest in the interaction between tourism and cities. Here, I have a special interest in the (spatial) development of the sharing economy (Airbnb), the influence of reviews on tourist behaviour and the issue of how tourism can make cities more sustainable and inclusive. Mapping tourism through spatial analysis (GIS), social network analysis and sentiment analysis is my methodological expertise.”
”I enjoy sharing my insights, but would rather learn from the insights of others. Tourism has many different aspects and affects places in many different ways and scales. A broad network with complementary disciplines and areas of expertise is necessary to research and understand it well..”
